Arvind Roy, a talented teacher of Nilphamari Domar Upazila, is no more. The assistant teacher of Mirzaganj Multipurpose High School, who received the British Council’s International School Award, the best content creator of Nilphamari District ICT Ambassador of Rangpur Division, passed away on Wednesday (July 14) at noon. He died at Rangpur Medical College Hospital.

According to family sources, he was admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital a few days ago. He has been admitted to Nilphamari Sadar Hospital for several days due to corona. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment there.

He was only 36 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, only son and numerous relatives and well-wishers. His last rites will be performed at Shashman in the afternoon.

On his demise, all the district ambassador teachers of Rangpur Online School, Rangpur Division wished peace to his departed soul and conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family.

Arvind Roy joined Mirzaganj Bi-directional High School (ICT) in Jorabari Union of the upazila in 2011 as a teacher. He is the son of Jitindra Nath Roy of Atiabari area of ​​ward 5 of Harinchara union of the upazila. ASM Abdul Quader, Headmaster of Mirzaganj Bi-directional High School, Upazila Headmasters’ Association, Swadhinata Teachers’ Council and all the teachers of the Assistant Teachers’ Society expressed their deep grief and sympathy over his death.
