All the ongoing undergraduate and postgraduate examinations of different years of Comilla University have been postponed till further notice. Friday (June 25) in the afternoon, Vice-Chancellor Prof. The decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the 72nd Academic Council of the university held on a virtual platform under the chairmanship of Emran Kabir Chowdhury. The matter has been informed in a press release sent by the university administration.
The university administration has said that if the situation is normal, the examinations will be re-taken as per the schedule of the examination committee, giving priority to the post-graduate and post-graduate examinations.
The university administration further said that in the current situation, considering the plight of students from different districts who came to the campus on the occasion of exams, the university authorities have decided to arrange bus service to take them safely to their respective departmental cities.
Earlier, a meeting of the examination committee held at the virtual platform Zoom on Thursday night recommended the suspension of all physical examinations.
