Students of seven colleges did not get results even in 15 months

Although there is a rule to publish the final results within three months of the examination, the students of Zoology and Geography and Environment departments of seven colleges affiliated to Dhaka University did not get the results in 15 months.

The final examination of their first year was held in December 2019.

Meanwhile, students who want to participate in the regular, irregular and quality improvement examinations of 18-19 academic year have been asked to fill up the application form for the second year examination online.

Students are confused to fill in the second year form before the first year results come out.

According to the Dhaka University Examination Controller’s Office, the online form has to be filled and submitted to the concerned college between March 18 and 30.

Where there are doubts about the opening of the educational institution, there are so many students who are worried about the notice to fill the second year form in such a hurry.

One of the students, who did not want to be named, said that the results of our first year have not been released yet.

But the second year form has been asked to be filled. I don’t know what to do.

I am hesitant. Is it possible to study with so much uncertainty?

Another student said that students of seven colleges have been suffering from various deprivations since the affiliation.

Not once is the test. If the test is not the result.

If the result is average, everyone’s result is disaster. Various problems including session jam do not seem to be leaving the seven colleges.

Regarding the release of the results, the principal of Dhaka College and the coordinator of the seven colleges, Professor IK Selim Ullah Khandaker said that work is underway on a large scale to improve the education system of the seven colleges.

We have numerous plans in this regard. The results of almost all subjects have been published. The rest of the sections will be revealed in a few days.

In order to improve the quality of education, seven government colleges located in Dhaka were affiliated to Dhaka University.

The colleges are Dhaka College, Eden Women’s College, Kabi Nazrul Government College, Shaheed Suhrawardy College, Begum Badrunnesa Government Women’s College, Government Titumir College and Mirpur Bangla College.

The problems of these colleges have been increasing since the affiliation. Session clutter, delays in publishing results and disruption of results are one of the major problems of seven college students.
